Bio: My name is Giramata, some people call me Amata. My heart beats to the rhythm of my Afrikan ancestors' drums and my feet dance to the music of the strong women of this world. I am a social Pan-Afrikan. I advocate feminism or maybe womanism- whatever creates a bigger and better platform for Afrikan women. I advocate Afro feminism/womanism and I am an artivist. This blog is about my journey of mental emancipation as an Afrikan woman. The blogs are influenced both by my experiences and those on similar journeys.
